  Your dog is unique. Genetics, experience, age, sex, breed, and many more traits affect what type of training your dog benefits from the most. During our Board & Train, each program is custom to fit your dog's needs. You'll never see a universal training outline or a cookie-cutter approach to dog training from us. When your dog begins training, we get to know them. We get to know their emotions, their confidence, and their shyness. We allow your dog to bond with us while building synergy and teamwork. When your dog enters a training experience, we want them to be excited to work with us while learning and growing, not just work for us and feel compelled to learn.

     Our onboarding process will include phone calls and questionnaires so we can understand what you see as the owner while understanding your hopes and goals within the training program. We help build appropriate expectations based on the communication before the program, which continues to be updated once your pup is with us for training. You'll also be learning while your dog is learning new skills and building on positive habits. Our goal is to help you have the best relationship with your dog and to be able to enjoy your lives together. Your dog having appropriate boundaries and structure within the relationship will help allow you to experience life to the fullest with them. Exploring the beautiful outdoors, enjoying breakfast downtown, or just walking in your neighborhood without panicking, helping your dog become the best version of themselves while working on your skills as a handler and building a healthy relationship can lead to a better life.

     The support system once your dog is ready to return home is extensive. We put our all into training your dogs, so it's crucial that you're set up for success when your dog returns home and that you continue having support. When we feel your dog is ready, we begin lessons with you. You'll receive the "go-home" lesson and written/video notes with essential details for you to remember once your pup has returned home. You'll also be added to our online platform. This platform includes a group specifically for clients with a Board & Train program with us. There, we'll post helpful tips, introductory videos, and events we're hosting, and we also encourage clients to post questions and videos of their work with their dogs. Additionally, we host group classes whenever possible. Those dates and times are posted on our online platform. We also encourage clients to email us updates on the training once the dog has come home and ask questions. All of this is part of the program pricing.
